The Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) is proud to announce that our 41st Annual Science Fair will be live on January 24th and will feature a range of innovative science projects from IUSD students in grades 6-12, including students enrolled in the IUSD Virtual Academy. Sponsored by the Irvine Public Schools Foundation, in partnership with the Broadcom Foundation, the Science Fair will be hosted virtually from January 24th to February 4th. During this time, our community can view this year’s projects by clicking here.
District office staff, teacher advisors and STEM professionals will evaluate each project to determine which are eligible to advance to the virtual Orange County Science and Engineering Fair. An awards ceremony to celebrate all IUSD student participants is scheduled to be held in-person at University High School.
“IUSD is proud of our student participants and their innovative projects,” said Director of STEM Chris Weber. “For more than four decades, outstanding young scholars have participated in this exciting event, which is a testament to our engaged students and passionate teachers, who are helping to foster a lifelong love of science. We are grateful to our partners, The Irvine Public Schools Foundation and the Broadcom Foundation for once again sponsoring this event.
