Irvine Parent Education Programs (IPEP) are FREE seminars and educational workshops offered to Irvine parents/caregivers throughout the school year. Our goal is to empower parents/guardians with the skills and strategies necessary to become active participants in their student’s education.

Calm and Confident: Supporting Your Child with Managing Stress

Join IUSD’s Mental Health and Wellness Department in partnership with Parent and Family Engagement for a parent presentation regarding supporting your child with managing stress. This presentation will guide parents in understanding the common sources of stress for school-aged children (PK-12) and provide practical strategies for supporting their emotional well-being. Topics will include recognizing signs of stress, fostering open communication, creating a balanced routine, and teaching coping skills. Parents will leave with actionable tools to help their children navigate stress and thrive.

Language interpretation will be available through AI tools both in person and on zoom.

Both in person and zoom sessions will have the same content. Please register for the option that best suits your needs.

Coffee and Connections

Please join IUSD in partnership with the Irvine Special Education Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and Seneca for training on positive behavioral intervention. This training is meant to help participants break down behaviors that are having the greatest impact on relationships and identify ways to collectively provide support. This training will also be available via livestream for anyone wishing to participate but unable to join in person. The training will not be recorded.
