High school students have their anti-smoking posters unveiled at local bus stops

Two IUSD high school students are winners of a countywide contest that asked teens to design anti-smoking posters. Suayla Zmary of Creekside High School and Dakota Bordeaux of Woodbridge High recently had their designs unveiled at a pair of bus stop shelters in Irvine. Collaborating with community leaders, educators and students, the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Tobacco Use Prevention Program sponsored the “Tobacco and Hollywood” poster contest to help young people make informed decisions – and to counter the influence that smoking in films has on youth.
