
IUSD students excelled at the recent State Science and Engineering Fair, with 10 students securing top-four positions in their respective division categories, alongside several honorable mentions and sponsored awards.
The California Science & Engineering Fair is the final science fair of the academic year for students throughout the State of California in grades 6-12. This year, 881 participants from 351 schools across the State showcased 701 projects in more than 20 categories, vying for over $30,000 in total awards. Top award winners in the Senior Division have the opportunity to become Finalists in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. In the Junior Division, participants have the chance to participate in the national Thermo-Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge.
