'Jazz at the Oak' concert to raise funds for Northwood's instrumental music program

Like jazz? And gourmet food trucks? And supporting Northwood High School’s instrumental music program?

Have we got an event for you. "Jazz at the Oak," a free outdoor jazz concert and fundraiser featuring the three jazz groups of Northwood High, as well as Sierra Vista Middle School’s jazz band, will be staged on the Northwood campus from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18. Proceeds, including a portion of the food truck sales, will benefit the entire award-winning instrumental music program at Northwood. In fact, the concert is the only fundraiser for the Timberwolves Instrument Music Boosters. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to the event, which will also feature a silent auction, a raffle and grab bags.
