In case you missed it, the Orange County Register published its latest rundown of the county’s best school districts over the weekend, and Irvine once again found itself at the top of the list.
IUSD was named the No. 1 district for middle and high schools, with Los Alamitos Unified earning similar praise for its elementary schools. “Irvine's four high schools post the county's highest rate of students enrolled in Advanced Placement classes and the top SAT scores,” the newspaper said. “Meanwhile, district middle schools prepare the most students in algebra, allowing children to begin thinking about college at an earlier age.” Specific IUSD campuses were previously called out in the Register’s breakdown of the top elementary, middle and high schools in Orange County.
