The Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) is proud to offer high school students the opportunity to earn college credits through a variety of CCAP Dual Enrollment Programs. In partnership with Irvine Valley College (IVC), IUSD provides dual enrollment courses both during the summer and throughout the school year. New this fall, IUSD is also expanding its offerings by partnering with Saddleback College to offer Arabic 1.
IVC/IUSD Summer College Program 2025
Current 9th–11th graders and incoming 9th graders at all IUSD high schools can take free college classes this summer through IVC. These courses will take place from June 12 to July 25, 2025.
Registration begins on April 29. To see the course offerings and complete the enrollment steps, please visit the IVC website.
IVC/IUSD’s Dual Enrollment for the 2025-26 School Year
IUSD high school students in grades 9–12 can enroll in college courses offered through their high school campuses. These courses, taught by college instructors, provide students with UC and CSU transferable credits. Starting with Fall 2025, all grade 9-12 students can also take most college courses offered at IVC or online with the general public using a one-time parental and HS consent form that is good until they graduate high school! IVC no longer requires a form every semester.
Registration begins on May 8 and must be completed by the end of the school year.
For registration steps and class descriptions, visit the IVC website.
