In recent years, The Orange County Register has issued a series of reports aimed at identifying the county’s top-performing elementary, middle and high schools, and IUSD campuses have featured prominently. Over the weekend, the newspaper added a new wrinkle, using data from the aforementioned articles to rank the top school districts in Orange County. And the No. 1 district, according to the Register? Irvine Unified. The accompanying story credits a varying instructional program across 30-plus sites, offering a number of opportunities for Irvine students and their families.
