The tornado warning for Orange County has been cancelled, according to the National Weather Service. "The severe thunderstorms that produced waterspouts off the coast and tornadic activity over Northern Orange County have moved to the Northeast and dissipated," the NWS said on its website. The warning was lifted before 2 p.m. Tuesday, and student dismissals were proceeding as normal. Still, we probably haven't seen the last of our extreme weather. Additional storms are developing off the coast of Southern Orange County and Northern San Diego County, and heavy rain is forecast for most of the week, the NWS says.
