El Vaquero, Irvine High School’s student-run newspaper, placed 1st in newspaper sweepstakes at the Orange County Journalism Education Association (OCJEA) Write-Offs.
Early this morning, a caravan of District staff and IUSD Board Members traveled to seven schools to announce the three Teachers of the Year and the four Teachers of Promise for the 2017-18 school year.
Today, in addition to announcing the 2017-18 Teachers of the Year, IUSD announced four Teachers of Promise. This annual honor goes to first- or second-year instructors, who go above and beyond, while demonstrating professional curiosity and an unbridled enthusiasm for teaching.
