With a vote on budget reductions two weeks away, the IUSD Board of Education resumed its dialogue over the state fiscal crisis and its impact on our schools at Tuesday night’s meeting.

The Irvine Unified Council PTA and a number of state organizations are encouraging parents, staff and community members to wear blue on Thursday, March 4, to show that we are “blue about the budget.” Seems red could have also been a consideration - as in red ink - or perhaps green for the optimists out there.
