IUSD’s Nutrition Services is serving daily grab-and-go meals at all school sites. Meals are available for purchase or as part of the free and reduced meal program for students who qualify. Please see meal prices, locations and pick-up times below.

Meal Pick-Up information
Families are encouraged to pick up meals at their child’s home school. However, if siblings attend different schools, they may pick up meals at one of their home schools. Walk-ups are welcome.
- Meals at the elementary, K-8 and middle schools will be available from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Meals at the high schools will be available from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Families will be asked for their student’s first and last name or student ID to enter in our point of sale system.
If families are in need of an early morning pick up, meals will be available from 7 – 8 a.m. at Culverdale Elementary School, Jeffrey Trail Middle School and Woodbridge High School.
Return to Regular Operations
During the COVID-19 school closures in spring 2020, the United States Department of Agriculture provided a waiver to school districts throughout the country that allowed IUSD to serve meals to students without requiring a student ID or payment. This waiver is no longer in place for the 2020-21 school year. Therefore, our regular pricing and purchasing options will resume. If a student qualifies for free or reduced priced meals, they will be charged accordingly.
Families Forward
If families need food assistance, Families Forward offers a drive-thru food pantry (M-F) 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., located at 8 Thomas Drive in Irvine. The drive-thru stations will provide non-perishable items to families each week. No appointment is necessary. Visit Families Forward for more information.

Second Harvest Food Bank – Can help connect families to food resources in general and during the COVID-19 crisis. 211 OC – Is a resource center to link families to a variety of Orange County services, including food, the CalFresh program, housing, military and veteran services, and more.
How You Can Help
If you are able, please consider donating non-perishable items to Families Forward. These items can be delivered to their drive-thru pantry (M-F) 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Below is a list of most needed items.

- Pasta sauce and Dried Pasta
- Rice (1lb and 2lb bags)
- Peanut butter
- Canned chicken and tuna
- Diapers (sizes 5 and 6)
- Baby wipes
