The Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) has been ranked a top school district in Orange County and one of the best in California, according to a new report by the review site Niche.
The 2020-21 Best Schools in America report, lists IUSD, which serves more than 35,000 students and has 41 schools, as one of the best districts in the county and state. The ranking was based on a variety of factors including state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality and student life on campus.
Niche collects and calculates data from the U.S. Department of Education, test scores, college data and ratings by Niche users. In addition to K-12 schools, Niche analyzes dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews to produce comprehensive rankings, report cards and profiles for colleges, neighborhoods, cities and major U.S. companies.
