U.S. News & World Report released its latest ranking of the country's "Best High Schools" this week, and four of IUSD’s comprehensive campuses made the list. Additionally, IUSD is the only Orange County school district to have two schools in the California top 100 ranking. Here are the rankings

* Portola High School, which opened in 2016, was not eligible for consideration, because the campus is currently grades 9-11. Next year, Portola will have its first-ever senior class.
The U.S. News ranking measures campuses on data including enrollment, graduation rates, diversity, participation in free and reduced-price lunch programs and the results of state assessments, as well as Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate test data. For more information, click here.
