Governor Newsom announced a phased approach for requiring  all California K-12 students to get vaccinated against COVID-19 that begins when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued full vaccine approval for younger age groups. Read this article for more information.
Free COVID-19 test kits are now available for IUSD students and staff as part of our commitment to provide easy access to testing in support of the health and safety of our school communities.  Saliva or nasal test kits will be available at your student's school during regular school hours.
The Irvine Police Department, in partnership with IUSD and the PTA, has created a traffic safety video with important tips for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers in and around school zones, driveways and crosswalks. When it comes to the safety of our students on the roadways, we're in this together!  
IUSD's Ask-A-Scientist/Engineer Night is on Wednesday, September 29  from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Creekside Education Center (3387 Barranca, Irvine).  This free annual event will assist students in grades 6 through 12, who are working on science fair projects.
