IUSD hosted the official dedication ceremony for its newest K-6 school, Eastwood Elementary. The District’s 23rd elementary school is a state-of-the-art education facility, which opened in August of this year.
Update - Wednesday, Oct. 11, 11:15 a.m. - IUSD schools remain open today. AQMD reported that air-quality in Irvine has improved. Outdoor activities and sports will resume.
For the third consecutive year, the Irvine Unified School District’s state standardized assessment scores have outperformed both state and Orange County score averages.
Update (September 27): Air-quality conditions in Irvine have improved. There are no AQMD advisories, at this time, related to air-quality in Irvine and the Canyon Fire. IUSD broke ground on Cadence Park School, on September 7, 2017. Once built, this state-of-the-art education facility will be the District's fourth K-8 and its 40th school.
