Two weeks ago, we launched Optimistic Household, which was developed solely for IUSD as part of our ongoing efforts to connect students and families with resources that support learning and social emotional wellness at the highest levels.

Friday, June 5 is the last day IUSD meals will be served for the 2019-20 school year.  Pick-ups this Friday will be at the same times and locations.  For families who need food assistance  and other community resources over the summer break, read this article for more information.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals at school will get extra food benefits through California’s Pandemic EBT or P-EBT program.
Now more than ever, during uncertain and stressful times, it’s important to manage anxiety and stress, practice self-care and keep up with healthy habits. Making a small change can positively impact your health and wellbeing.
Last week, Superintendent Walker announced the launch of Optimistic Household  to connect our students and families with helpful resources that support learning and social emotional wellbeing at the highest levels for students.  Module 1 of this six-part series is now available.
