As we head into a busy second half of the school year, IUSD’s Counseling and Mental Health and Wellness teams have provided the following tips for families designed to support students.
One meaningful way to engage with your child’s school and our district is by participating in the Annual Survey, which closes on Monday, February 10.
Each elementary school will hold an informational meeting for parents about the district’s early learning programs. For times and locations, visit your neighborhood elementary school’s website.
As students begin considering their elective choices for the upcoming school year, one option to consider is Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID).
During the Information Night, families will have the opportunity to learn more about the program and meet the teachers and current families.
IUSD middle and high school students have opportunities to take CTE courses that offer hands-on learning in teamwork, leadership, creativity and problem-solving across various industries.
